Abstract
Identified in the municipaly of Irapuato, Gto., Mexico were the species of Bruchidae that attack the seeds of Prosopis laevigata (mezquite), Acacia spp. (huizache), and Mimosa biuncifera (gatuño). In the seeds of Acacia were found Stator vachelliae Bottimer, Stator sordidus (Horn), and Mimosestes nubigens (Mots.), causing losses from 32 to 84%. In M. biuncifera was detected Stator pruininus (Horn), responsible fot damaging 53% of its seeds.
