Resumen

Las micro y pequeñas empresas (MYPES) son clave para la economía mexicana; no obstante, enfrentan limitaciones en la gestión del talento humano (GTH). Este estudio valida un modelo teórico que explica la relación entre la GTH y el éxito empresarial en MYPES del estado de Nayarit, México. Por medio de encuestas aplicadas a 911 negocios, se llevó a cabo un análisis factorial exploratorio y confirmatorio, donde se identificaron tres componentes: GTH, Desempeño y Satisfacción Personal. Los resultados mostraron que la GTH tiene mayor relación con el bienestar subjetivo y motivación del empresario que con el desempeño empresarial. El modelo validado constituye una herramienta teórica-aplicada pertinente para fortalecer la gestión estratégica del talento humano en las MYPES mexicanas, aportando evidencia empírica.
