Abstract

In this paper the oscillations of an electrical power system coupled to an electric arcfurnace are analyzed. Bifurcation diagrams and the stability of the equilibrium pointsare presented. The critical stability points and the operating zones are analyzed in theoscillatory state, and it is found that the internal voltage of the synchronous generatorshows the bifurcation parameter.
