Coccinélidos (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) del Estado de Guanajuato en la Colección Leopoldo Tinoco Corona de la Universidad de Guanajuato

Abstract

Nineteen genera and thirty nine species of coccinellidae (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) were identified in the state of Guanajuato. The genera with more species is: Hyperaspis with sixspecies, followed by Brachyacanthaand Epilachna with four species each. Location, date and the host for each specimen are also reported. This is the first work done in the state of Guanajuato that contributes to the knowledge of this beneficial coleopteron to the agriculture.
