Abstract
This work proposes to examine one of the most controversial and persistent topics of contemporary epistemologic reflection: the discussion of the scientific character in the social fields. Based on a critical and historical review of the theoretical implications and premises of the main schools of thought that have participated in this debate, it seeks to show (in close approximation) the emerging conditions and possibilities that force an understanding, through new philosophical schemes, the nature and the problems of current science.
