Abstract
The objective of this work was to determine the presence of volatile compounds by GC-MS and its possible relationship with B. subtilis biological control on R. solani y F. verticillioides. Communication among microorganisms is common; it is called Quorum Sensing, and determines their subsequent behavior. Under the experimental conditions B. subtilis was able to produce the same volatile compounds than R. solani y F. verticillioidesas well astrimethylamina, which could be the trigger for the production of diffusible compounds by the bacterium to perform the biological control.
