Influencia del espectro luminoso de LED sobre el desarrollo in vitro de Phytophthora capsici

Resumen

La investigación se realizó para conocer la influencia de la calidad de luz emitida por combinaciones de LED sobre el crecimiento radial y biomasa de micelio Phytophthora capsici cultivado in vitro. Se utilizaron cuatro tratamientos que consistieron en combinaciones de LED blancos (B), rojos (R) y azules (A) ubicados en las cámaras de crecimiento, con porcentajes de: 100B-0R-0A, 70B-30R-0A, 80B-0R-20A y 60B-27R-13A, los cuales se establecieron bajo un diseño completamente al azar con 10 repeticiones. El espectro luminoso emitido por las lámparas LED influyó en el crecimiento in vitro de P. capsici, el tratamiento 80B-0R-20A, caracterizado por una mayor emisión en el rango de luz azul (400 nm-500 nm), redujo 13.3 %,17.7% y 6.16% el crecimiento radial comparado con el hongo que crecio bajo el efecto de 70B-30R-0A, con mayor emisión de luz roja, como en la biomasa de P. capsici, lo que sugiere un efecto inhibitorio asociado al predominio de este espectro.
