Economía Circular y su congruencia con el desarrollo sostenible: una revisión sistemática de literatura

Resumen
La literatura sobre economía circular (EC) y desarrollo sostenible presenta una cobertura desigual de las tres esferas de la sostenibilidad (social, económica y ambiental), siendo la dimensión social la menos abordada. El objetivo de este artículo fue analizar la congruencia entre las prácticas de EC y el desarrollo sostenible, así como identificar una liga teórica coherente entre dichas prácticas y las tres esferas. Para ello, se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática de literatura, realizando la búsqueda en Web of Science (WOS) e incorporando estudios sobre sustentabilidad, EC y desempeño de carbono. Se aplicó un enfoque sistemático para clasificar y examinar los trabajos encontrados, integrando elementos conceptuales y marcos teóricos. Los resultados muestran una articulación teórica consistente entre EC y sostenibilidad, a la vez que confirman la menor atención a la dimensión social en la literatura. Finalmente, el estudio ofrece una síntesis rigurosa y comprehensiva del estado del arte y destaca vacíos relevantes para futuras investigaciones.
