Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio fue detectar las necesidades de capacitación de los agricultores ubicados en San Pablo Huixtepec, Oaxaca, para fortalecer su habilidad emprendedora mediante el modelo Borich (1980). Esta iniciativa se ha utilizado en el área educativa y en el sector alimentario con base en las necesidades de los participantes. Se hizo un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia con información de 30 agricultores interesados en capacitarse. De un listado de 16 temáticas se calcularon las puntuaciones medias de discrepancia ponderada y se clasificaron según su prioridad. Las que obtuvieron mayor puntaje fueron: el uso de las redes para promover productos y servicios (PMDP = 5.13), el manejo de las tecnologías (TIC) para la promoción y desarrollo del producto (PMDP = 4.63) y el reconocimiento de oportunidades para el crecimiento de la unidad productiva (PMDP = 4.62).
