Abstract

This study was carried out in 1995 at the Campo Agrícola Experimental (Experimental Agricultural Field) of the Instituto de Ciencias Agrícolas (Institute of Agricultural Sciences) of the University of Guanajuato. The variety of garden produce used was the “Criolla de Irapuato”. The factors evaluated were: “A” nitrogen (0, 100, 150, 200 and 250 kg ha-1) and “B” phosphorous (0, 40, 60 and 80 kg ha-1). Another factor taken into account was the regional treatment of the agricultores: 300-80-00. The experiment was conducted in a bifactorial manner using a complete randomized block design with fourrepetitions. The evaluated variable was crop yield. The nitrogen and phosphorous factors at different dosis showed significant effects on yield. The treatment which generated the greater production of fruit was the regional treatment of those agricultores with 300 units of nitrogen and 80 units of phosphorus.
